Recently, while speaking in Nashville, I shared my Autism and the Immune System program to several groups. On one slide I inserted a cartoon character of a man with large breasts. His comment, Wow, what a drug… and no side effect so far.

Although the audience laughed and found this funny the reality is not funny. The side effects of prescription drugs can often be far worse than the illness ever thought about being. But – are we warned about the possible / potential risks before being given the medication? Do we tend to find out too little… too late?

From personal experience and from numerous letters that are from innocent people looking for answers I would have to say enough is enough!

According to an article by one of my favorite sleuths, Jim Edwards,  Zicam is just another drug with serious side effects that went unreported and unrecognized for far too long. Over 800 cases of people loosing their sense of smell after using Zicam began in 1999!

TEN YEARS is far too long to go without something being done to protect people and TEN YEARS is just the beginning… read Jim Edwards full article here and let me know what YOU think: Supreme Court and Drug Companies.

Sincerely,

Rhonda

I have been studying autism since 2001: What causes autism, What can be done to help people with autism, What can be done to prevent autism… and I quit logging my hours in 2008 when I was at 7,000 hours.

Since 2008 I have discovered a common denominator that has changed the focus of my life: Glutathione. Glutathione is THE immune builder that supports our body’s every action. Glutathione exists in every cell in our system and is the tri-peptide created in our liver with one purpose: to remove toxins, heavy metals and free radicals from our blood stream! While doing this crucial job, air flow is increased and the natural process of improved health is obtained.

In 2005 I first read about glutathione but could not find a source or a way to improve my son’s critically low levels. Sure, there were (and still are) numerous products on the market claiming to be “the” answer. After deliberate research I discovered that they either 1) had no substantial data to support their claims, 2) had fillers to include play sand and ground up plastic or 3) couldn’t answer basic questions.

In October 2008 – after my son’s blood tests revealed that he still had chronically low levels of glutathione and chronically high levels of mercury – (after detoxifying since 2001 at an average cost of $240 a month) I changed my research tactic. My search was simple: Autism, low glutathione, Immune System. I landed on a site owned by Dr. Robert H. Keller. I spent the next two months reading everything about him in Pub Med, in medical journals and everywhere I could find.

Because the story seemed too good to be true I began typing Dr. Keller Hoax, Dr. Keller Scam and so on… and NEVER found a single thing. On December 17, 2008 I gave my son (at that time suffering terribly from PANDAS) his first dose of MaxGxl Glutathione Accelerator. Within a week we saw better focus. In three weeks I received the first call from the school, What are you doing different with Tanner? In seven weeks we met with the therapist for training for the voice activated computer that he qualified for in October 2008.

He no longer qualified!

On September 16, 2009 – nine months on MaxGxl – my son no longer qualified for services at school and the rest – as they say – is history. I published my 3rd book The Journey, Home from Autism and it was released on January 1, 2010. The final chapter deals with  his fabulous improvements… the healing of his immune system.

If you have a healthy immune system you will have a healthy brain. If you have a healthy brain you can accomplish anything you set your mind to doing. My son’s 1st book Tanner’s Camel will be going to press this summer. His first screen play and the other three books he’s written will follow soon. My younger son, Oliver also wrote his first book at eight. His message: what it’s like to have a brother with autism. Sometimes really cool and sometimes really annoying… You’ll definitely want a copy! More details on his book Asperger’s Rhymes with Bass Burgers coming soon.
